About Us

 Based in Pleasanton, California, our FTC team is fueled by the passion of nine members, each bringing their unique strengths to the table. With a focus on building a solid team dynamic, we've been putting in the hours to ensure we're primed and ready for the challenges ahead. As the 2024-2025 competition looms on the horizon, we're gearing up with excitement and determination. 

Our Mission

Our mission as Quantum Leapers, a first-year FTC team from Pleasanton, is to inspire innovation, foster collaboration, and ignite a passion for STEM within our team and community. We aim to develop skills in engineering, programming, and teamwork while upholding the core values of FIRST. Through challenges and creative problem-solving, we seek to build a competitive and resilient robot that reflects our commitment to learning and perseverance. Together, we strive to make a positive impact by sharing our knowledge, supporting fellow teams, and encouraging others to leap into the future with a love for science and technology.

First Tech Challenge

 The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition where teams design, build, and program robots to complete tasks in a dynamic game. Each year presents a new challenge, fostering teamwork and strategic thinking among participants. FTC promotes STEM education and essential life skills through hands-on experience and creative problem-solving.
